The radical approach, sometimes referred to as the prophetic approach, involves explicit challenge based on a distinctively Christian position, that is offered as a contrast to the prevailing situation. The approach assumes that government and / or civil society can be radically changed and that Christians are called to bring about this change. Frequently it engages with institutions from the outside.
