Join us this summer for relaxed, family-friendly events in the beautiful surrounds of Portsmouth Cathedral. Taking place across the holidays, Summer on the Southside brings together a series of community events at Portsmouth Cathedral.
Featuring Screen on the Green over four weekend evenings, our free outdoor cinema will be showing much-loved films for all ages, from family favourites to timeless classics. Bring a blanket and cushions, settle in on the lawn, and enjoy the show. Our ‘Dean’s Tipple’ Bar will be open serving a range of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and snacks.
Alongside the films, on selected dates we’ll be welcoming Portsmouth Authors Collective for a special poetry and spoken word session. The wonderful Future Folk collective will also be presenting an acoustic folk showcase, plus This is my Theatre present a special outdoor theatre performance of Pride and Prejudice.
*Selected theatre performances ticketed separately.
