Bishop Jonathan will ordain  those who are set apart to be members of the clergy as deacons and priests in our cathedral on Saturday 29 June.

Service times:
Deacons - 11am
Priests - 4pm

Those ordained deacon will be given the title ‘the Reverend’, and be able to wear a clerical collar and lead services as an assistant curate in their parish. The candidates have been through their theological training and a pre-ordination retreat, and are now ready to be ordained and to use the title ‘the Reverend’. They will serve as curates in parishes throughout our diocese

Those ordained priest are additionally able to lead Communion services.
