A free-to-view Calligraphy Exhibition for visitors to Portsmouth Cathedral to enjoy. Calligraphy is both an art and a craft, and is so much more than just names on invitations, place cards or certificates! The theme of 'Water, the Gift of Life" is a very wide one, and is open to interpretation in many different ways. All members of Hampshire Calligraphers, from near-beginners to professional calligraphers, are encouraged to contribute work. Some pieces of work are for sale: details of who to contact about this are shown on notices on the display boards.
