Our Cathedral will be open for longer!
Portsmouth Cathedral is pleased to announce new extended opening times, starting from this Saturday, 1st April 2023. The Cathedral will be open from 9:00am to 6:30pm on Mondays to Fridays, 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays, and 8:00am to 6:30pm on Sundays.
The Cathedral continues to be open for services as events which can be found in our What's on guides, service lists and website.
The new opening times give a great opportunity for people to discover the Cathedral, and to learn more about its history and its place in the community. All are also welcome to visit for private prayer, to reflect or light a candle at any time throughout the day - just ask one of our team who will happily direct you to a quiet chapel.
The Cathedral is a place for everyone, and we hope these new extended opening times will make it even more accessible to the people of Portsmouth, as well as visitors and pilgrims to the city.
