CHRISTMAS FAIR

Saturday 1st December

11am to 2pm

The annual Christmas Fair this year will be on Saturday 1st December from 11am until 2pm. Entrance to the Fair is 50p – Accompanied Children Free.  All profits will go towards the upkeep of the Cathedral and to Cathedral Groups such as the Flower Guild, the Choir Association and the Youth Club.

This very popular event is held in the vast area of the Nave of the Cathedral, enabling many stalls including needlecraft, jewellery, china and glass, Christmas decorations, books, preserves and toiletries -  ideal for Christmas presents. 

There are also stalls with home-made cakes, baby clothes and toys, Tombola with over 500 prizes, and a Grand Raffle of fabulous prizes, and for the children – Santa’s Grotto and Face Painting. Entrance to Santa’s Grotto is £2 – includes gift.

Refreshments, including ploughmans, cakes and drinks, will be available in the newly refurbished Cathedral House.

There are two-hour free parking bays and also metered parking spaces in the High Street and Grand Parade and in surrounding streets.
